| Improper Training I've been looking on youtube and various other video websites from actualy demonstrations on the correct execution of DC training. I personally have been on DC for about three months and my gains are incredible, i've never had better results on any other program. My question is, when I watch these videos it seems as though everyone performing them is doing so incorrectly. This is based on what I have read and understood of DC training. The training method calls for a true 6-8 second negative, which in my head, translates to 6-8 "one one thousand" calls during the eccentric part of the motion. Most of the people I have seen performing exercises in the video seem to do a regular 1-0-2 count, which seems contradictory to the information I have gathered. I have been controlling my rep speed at a 6-8 second negative, and it's brutal, and I love it. I have been doing a lot of reading how the negative actually lengthens the fibers within the muscle. I was curious if I was incorrect, or if the people performing the exercises in the video were incorrect, or if i've missed something? I just want the most out of DC training and i'm pretty sure i'm doing it properly just wanted to verify. |
