Rep Power: 3 ![]() | Thanks, Voracious. One thing I try to do, is focus on ME and always stepping on stage better than the time b4; this is something the judges know me for and expect from me....regardless of placings my expectations is that a.) I look better than the last time I was on stage AND b.) That when I step on stage, I am honestly at peace with myself because I know I couldn't have done anything better, harder, smarter. I am my own biggest critic! lol. Today, was my next to last Wednesday splurge meal. I have one more nxt Wed, and I will continue to have one splurge meal on each Saturday for about 4 more wks. I guess my choice was off, cause I didn't enjoy this one very much or think it even tasted good for some reason. It was a turkey and cheddar sandwhich with pie and monster cookies (monster cookies, now those were good) The sandwhich was just kinda blaaaaa and the pie I didn't like. This is unusual considering I did several lo carb days in a row and was quite depleted; I would have thought I would devour it but left a bunch of it behind:( I did legs tonight, 30 sets total including calves plus 30 minutes cardio; I had a great workout! |

Rep Power: 3 ![]() | Well I survived Thursday, which can only mean the wkend is almost here! Work=stressful. Did chest and tri's today, plus about 8 sets abs with the big ball thingy. Had a great workout but a little too much activity going on around me to be as good as yesterday. Had a low carb day=55 grams total today, and did around 200 grams protein from fish and egg beaters. My carb sources were from one serv oats, one half grapefruit, one serv green beans....some in my whey, PWO. Altogether not feeling too bad, more drained than anything and just did not wanna get outta bed this morning. I t's all good though, tomorrow is jeans day at work so peops will be in a good mood. No cardio tonight, just runnin' late. We thought we were gonna be able to do it outside, but the 60 degree temp did not hold and it was too cold:) |

Rep Power: 3 ![]() | Friday I was off from the gym, had a hair appointment....I had high hopes of doing cardio outside due to the unusally warm weather, but that did not work out so it was a full day off. Good thing, as I was deadly sore and don't believe I should've trained anything anyway. Slept in this morning, Saturday, and just finished doing 45 min cardio on my treadmill and WHEW it feels good! We are going to a nearby town that has a new 7500 sq ft facility/gym and try that out, to be followed by splurge meal.... I started out last week at 150 in the am and my weight this morning is 143.8. I believe the majority of difference is water loss from low carbs and one lb actually fat loss. It is on! ![]() |

Rep Power: 3 ![]() | We trained at a new place yesterday called the RecPlex, which has bball and vball courts, pools as well as the gym....has top of the line hammer strengh equipment which we thoroughly enjoyed:) The place was very posh with the best equipment but had NO atmosphere, lol. Sad. We agreed we would go back to use the equipment but not bcome regular members due to the vibe. When I came out in my w/out clothes these ummmmm heavier girls were giving me dirty looks. I hate that. Geez, grow up. We had a bangin' workout though, they had so many iso lateral back machines and also delt that I will be deathly sore, no doubt. My workout today will be arms, cardio, abs and maybe a tan, who knows? I might post a pic update today, if I can get around to getting my photog to do it...ha ha ha. 10 wks out, brothers and sisters! |

Rep Power: 3 ![]() | well, here are my 10 wk out pics....I don't see much change, nor did I expect to, but I think it is important to do the pics and will be interesting to see them as the changes do start.....especially will be after the removal of splurge meals in about 3 weeks. |
