Rep Power: 5 ![]() | I just started doing the elliptical instead of the treadmill..holy frickin crap my heart rate goes through the roof just going slow on it. Stays at 170 or so just doing moderate and trying to slow down and pace myself. (one at the gym). Awesome. I think the difference NN is just less impact..but my darn feet start going to sleep after awhile. Think I need stiffer shoes. |

Rep Power: 5 ![]() | Have you checked out ebay? Here's a top of tha line one for 1000, not sure about shipping though but if you find one not too far away you could go pick it up. http://cgi.msn.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI...category=15275 |

Rep Power: 5 ![]() | Maybe one like this would be cool for 200 bucks! I'd have to try it first though and see how it 'felt' http://cgi.msn.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI...category=15275 |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Never considered ebay....shipping would kill, cause I think most are too far away....I'd be worried about it being garbage or pieces broken or something...why do people sell that stuff on there? More coverage I guess.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | IMO....Interval training will give you the most calories burnt for time spent doing cardio. Of course keeping your heart rate above 70% for the duration of the exercise..However,exercises like the treadmill, stairclimber, or stairmaster in which you support your body weight result in more caloric expenditure.... I do like the elyptical for warmup.... |
