Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I think cardio is a personal thing. it's just like you workout. You gotta find the balance that works best for you and stick with it. of course it helps if you can find a few different ways to get your cardio. That way you don't get bored. |

Rep Power: 3 ![]() | Re: Cardio while bulking? 3-4 30 min sessions per week is about what I do in the off seson- it will affect size gains minimally and will help keep your training at peak performance- at 297 last year it was hard to go up a flight of steps w/o being winded cuz I completely cut our cardio- it made leg training much harder especially when I did higher reps- had I done cardio I would have had better overall results IMO. |

Cardio increases capilary density, and cardiac output, and VO2 max, which in turn increases nutrient uptake.... which makes you bigger. Sprints and intervals are ideal for bulking. Diet can be adjusted accordingly. |

Rep Power: 3 ![]() | Re: Cardio while bulking? i take some bcaa's or a scoop of protien and walk incline in my target "fat burn zone" in the am 2-3 days a week. then come home and have breakfast. that little bit of cardio and a good diet always has kept me lean while still being able to gain weight. just remember those calories! |
