| Contest Goer Ettiquette Maybe I am wrong, but it is how I feel. As a trained musician, there are certian things that I just know about being in an auidence during a performance. Are the unwritten rules of contest goer ettiquette not the same. It grates my nerves to no end that people get up in the middle of some one posing and walk in and out of the auditorium. They should wait till the clapping and stuff. I know that the lights are bright but still you can see someone walking around that is, in my opinion, distracting and rude. And CELL PHONES going off during someones posing routine is just CRAZY. Maybe I am to proper LOL. Just wanted to get that off my chest and see what the even more seasoned folks have to say. | |

Rep Power: 5 ![]() | Great post and I agree. Am adamant about cell phones not being allowed in an auditorium, or at least have to be shut off. Some of them are loud and can be a distraction to a competing athlete. How important can a call be that they can't leave a voice message? How did we survive without cell phones? And talking and moving around during a show is a distraction to audience spectators. People should exercise consderation and common sense. |

Rep Power: 5 ![]() | LOL, Mike. That wasn't a breach of etiquette. But not sure about flashing the boobies! LOL :) And agree with mass. Most people are clueless, and think contest shape happens overnight. Competitors deserve more respect and courtesy than they get. |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | i know what you guys mean, if ive heard one skinny guy talk about how he might diet down for a few weeks and do a show, then ive heard 100, i hate how easy ppl think this game is, or how easy it is to grow to the size of a pro

| very true Deca. I would like to know what we can do now. If there are any promoters here maybe you could start by mentioning these things at the beginning of the show. Please turn all cell phones off and please only exit and enter the auditoruim during applause or in between competitors. I think if this game is going to get the respect from the MASS POPULATION that is DESERVES then we will have to step up the expectations for our goers and such. But you guys are right not many really know what it takes just for 60 seconds on stage and people are just up and down and walking around and talking and stuff it is JUST RUDE. My 2 cents again guess that makes 4 cents LOL. | |
