Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Get as dark as you can, that's about all you can do. I have a friend who really wants to compete but got a huge tat on his back before he thought about bodybuilding. Now he regrets it. Oh well, live and learn. The back is one of those bodyparts with alot of detail, so covering it with ink probably won't help. I've noticed alot of pro's get tats in less conspicuous places.

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | I know one thing, having tattoos dosn't matter near as much as it used to...at least to the judges and fans. I have a sleeve covering my entire left arm from the shoulder to the wrist. Beautiful work, some people tell me it's the best skin art they have ever scene. I plan on competing this fall so I will let you guys know if it effected me or not. I have no regrets though...it's who I am and what makes me, me... |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | My back piece is not really tight together though and it totally follows the lines of my back. It is almost like a tribal tree growing on my back and branches out as it gets to the top. There are large gaps though, but you're right it is who I am and I don't have any regrets. |

Rep Power: 3 ![]() | The tat. thing is kind of weird in my case, my left arm is a good 1/2" smaller then my right but the way the tribal dragons come up my forearm, over the side of my bicep and around my shoulder it gives the appearance that it's way bigger than the right. Especially since the tat on my right bi is from when I was 18 and it's position is way off cause my arm was like 5" smaller. So I guess it can go both ways :dunno:
