tanning?

do you guys thank you HAVE to tan to compete...im seeing alot of national level guys that look like they havent got in a tanning bed once and are just piling on the protan...im thinking about doing this same thing just because i dont have the time to tan...i watch my little boy in the mornings before i go to work and by the time i get off work no places are open.

I have no idea...your right about the national guys, i know plenty of them who just paint up and go

The only pros i know are jay cutler and dexter jackson......dexter is obviously black and I know that jay tans

Well like I said, I know 2 pros personaly 1 black 1 who tans...so i dont know

Honestly dude, if u some how get your pro card and piss away a few shows becuase u didnt tan, im sure u will have more then enough time to adjust, im also sure if u show enough promise to turn pro some one will eventually tell u u need to start tanning.

Getting a base tan before your comp just makes the pro-tanning easier.. You dont have to put as much on. I know people that get a base tan before protanning and some that dont. It's really up to the individual. No base tan, more pro-tan. :)

read these post on tans and how they couldve made a diffrence.. all or none bro... find the time. lay out in the yard and let your son run around... no short cuts. i know you would and have told me the same

I have stopped tanning. I believe it is a total waste of time and wouldn't bother. Dennis Wolf is pulling it off so it shouldn't be a problem.

Not only does tanning improve your color it also helps dry you out. Tanning is a part of contest prep for me but everyone is different. You have always came in with color and conditioning so Id keep doing what you are doing
