Okay i will try to make this sound as clear as possible it just a collection of the night before day of thoughts/activities.

First of thanks to GNJ, O-Dog Dayna, and the whole AF crew you guys :hbang:
Mon-Wed were the last days of working out and they were hell mentally i was dead, i was floating aimlessly in the air.. my brain was shutting down i forgot to give customers change etc...

Thursday: Med Carb up 150 grams for the day. I was working that so extra tired on my feet all day.. but other than that it was okay..

Friday: I woke up at 7 to go pick up the rental car but there was problem with it so we had to walk to to few places/waited fora bank to open for an hours so basically i was on my feet for 2 hours till i got home at 10 to eat meal 1. i took a nap for a bit but was stressing due to the car situation. Woke up to eat again, had to go to the grocery store to pick up things for saturday and get some tupper ware etc and potatoes so i was out again and came home ate more poatoes ate about 6ish .. I was flat so the carbs were jacked to 1000 for the day just eat every 2 hours... Something was wrong i just couldnt stomach anymore potatoes so iwent to nap woke up and struggled to to finish more poatoes. I spke to Nark and he said i need to eat and if anything switch to rice cakes. Which i did and was alot easier on my stomach i was able to go through about two bags while talking to Nark. Went to bed got up at 2 took 10ml of water and swallowed about 12 pills for the am and that was it for the water...

Saturday Sept 29 Showday

Followed everything to a T.. water i was allowed 500ml but, i didnt drink any which i was proud of i had to take about 4-6 pills any time i ate i did it without water throught out day..

5 am
: Woke up had some poatoes/rice cakes/ some chicken adn started to pack my bag and get ready i thought the cab was coming for 6 so i was rushing , turns out the cab the was coming at 7 so i got back to bed and got some good sleep in...

7am is
as the cab came i ate 3 rice cakes and some chicken in the cab cab ride to brand for 140 dollars :( it was about 1:15 min away...

we got to the place at about 8;15 got to the lobby and just hung out till about 8:45 as the competitors pilled in. I sat beside the black guy the winner in my class ( i asked dayna u think he is in my class? she said no he is way too huge i said yea thats what i thought) boy was i wrong...

anyhow 9am weigh ins... they called us by division and u strip down i nthe lobby and weigh in and hand in ur music and they give u a number to be pinned on your suit..

After the weigh in i had some potatoes and chicken

10:30 ish In the pump room. The pump room is a whole diffrent experince soo coool you see all the guys doing diffrent things most people were eating PB/Jelly/Rice cakes the overall winner was eating recees choclate he gave me a bar.. anyhow i took down maple syrup yes maple syrup half a bottle straight and began pumping up ( pushup,band work) just mostly arm/chest and delts... pump room experince is something else...

11:15
at weigh in there were only 4 people in my class so i was clam and cool but when they said light-weight mens back stage there were =8 guys i was like wtf? Some of the guys that though they were a class higher didnt make weight in the upper class so they were dropped to my class got a bit nervous here... first they called us out in numerical order 4 then 4.. then in the second callout they called the black guy ( 27 been training for 10 years out frist) the older guy 51 natty guy then me :) ...

after pre-judging i called nark to tell'em what happeend he was cool.. I had some more potatotes he said at 5 i can eat w/e " You want brownies" go eat em... but honestly i was excited when i heard but i said no and we both agreed to stick to rice cakes/jelly/syrup and choclate. Nark spoke to Dayna and she told him i looked good etc and i just need to stick to the plan..

Cool Thing : Mr.Canada the winner of the welter weight 158-170 ( where id like to be ) came up to mee and said " Dude your sick, dont worry about the black your second or thrid for sure, he gave me his number and said i want to work with you, your conditioning is sick, and ur legs my god man. "if this was not about size but conditioning hands down your the overall winner there is not one person in the the auditorium as conditioned as you!"

12-3 tried to rest just kinda hung out had more potatoes chicken talked a few judges and fellow competitors when one of the competitors asked me when i was called out i said third he shook my hand and said find a spot for your trophy..

4-5 i actually got to nap with feet elvated... with my feet elvated i was like hmm lemme check my legs and BOOM the vascualrity was nuts!! Dayna got a pic of them.. as she took a pic Mr.Canada (his brother was in the show) saw and said my god dude your nuts he is like go eat steak dont owrry just go eat, then he shook my hand "

5:30 ish made my mix 1 jar of berry jam 1 jar of grape jam and half bottle of pancake syrup i ate that with a spoon for a bit and it was good then i added some rice cakes into the mix dipped and ate.. after a while the sweetness got to me.. so i switched to a snicke/score/recess/trail mix bars and oh henry.. at about 6:20 i stopped. Oh i bummed two italian cookies of a heavy weight those were damn good!

7:30 ish : i got oiled/hot stuffed up and i was ready to pump up and started to drinky my syrup and pump up
up...

8is show time Numerical orders we did the routines then the Top 3 (me) were called out for mandatories then 60 second pose down then... trophy time... :bounce:

Went back stage and took my pictures from the on site photographer.. talked to O-dog for a bit (real cool guy btw and the dude is a giant 6'5!) thanks again !

Mistak/Learning Experince When i got off stage and went to take my pics i drank a 500 ml bottle of water which was a mistake ( i should have sipped the water to get it in my system slowly) i drank it to fast that shocked my body and made it going to in nasuea like terrible... I should have slipped it slowly or drank gatoroade for electrolyte balance.. so i kinda just sat on the chair hunched over for about 1 hour another competitroes prep guy gave me some gas-x to help.. So on the ride home i was offered to go to wendys but i passed i just was tired and felt like crap so i just ate rolaids and drank diet 7 up to help wit hthe stomach . I slept on the ride home and slept as soon as i got home no crap for me..

ALso i need to start my carb up a bit earlier ( Tues-Wednesday most likely)


Today Cool thing part 2 The owner of the gym was really supportive of me when he found out my age and i was competing... so i went to the gym and worked out did back/bi's i tried for cardio but that wasn;t happing i got 5 min in but stopped.. i did bring my trophy to the gym to show him he was really proud and gave me 6 months free on my member ship...and was just amazed... after the workout i took some pics and looked alot better ( i mean fuller and bigger then what my bdy weight shows) essentially thats what i would like to look like on stage.. at the same weight...oh he is trying to get me signed with PVL but i doubt that will happen...

Plans November 10th is the Level 1 and 2 show a really big show in ottawa becacuse it's two levels. Since i placed top 3 i can comepte in level 2. I really want to come in shredded but i need to up the size a bit or fullness to be competetive i think we can do this we have about 7 weeks i think or 6 weeks.....

Bullshit event today sunday was probally the one of the best days of my life. I was soo happy like i had such pep in my step etc. After the gym i went back to Dayna's place the girl i was staying wit the last week and packed up my stuff and got ready to go home i got home and thats when the day went to shit as expected really . Bro was cool aand like the pics i got developed. Mom was happy tooo see my didnt have much of a reaction to the pics ( she doenst understand) but she was like ur soo dark, when will ur viens go away etc... but thats was cool...

my dad wasnt home at the time when he did come home i was going down to put things away but i was like no i will show him my trophy.. * exact convo*

Faiz : " Hey Dad, look my trophy i won 3rd"

Dad : * the most sarcastic voice i have ever heard him use in my life * " thats great, something to be proud off" slams the bed room door in my face...

at this point i was pissed and watned to cry im still pissed as i type... maybe i will get the damn pizza im craving...( re below)

Today food Didnt eat much crap woke up had some diet coke lots of protein bars, a muslce milk shake but i threw it away after a sip i was craving my plain chicken and turkey breast so i had alot of that with some mustard and low carloire dressings/some trail mix/ 1 tsb pb/ some rice cakes/ one home made xtra lean beef burger just the burger a few protien shakes oh and my little cousin (11 years old) dropped of brownies for me so i had about 6 of those nothing toooo crazy.. right now im eating egg whites/whey/sf pudding tossed half ( not in the moo) i want to eat crap but i dunno im retarded... drinking some crystal lite too...i am craving a real good steak meal or pizza though but will not follow through...

Corey, honestly your a true friend. Even though we have not met face to face but you have become my brother, The last week was brutal and you were there more your phone was on 24/7 to help me get through it. As you can see i didnt have much support. Im sure alot of you will think this is just a plug for nark, but its not. He is truly a stand up guy. He creates a balance between friend and trainer. at 8 weeks out he gave me compliments but never over did them ... " he never said ur doing great keep it up" he was more suttle which helped me keep focus and not get full of my self.. he kept pushing me he knwe what i had in me and wanted me to climb the way that he had in his head and not come short he pushed me to my limits and never beyond them. But what really touched me when he said he was proud of me, and said i can do alot of damage! He doesnt get impressed easy but when he called me at 9pm after the show to say how proud/excited he was of me it brought the greatest smile to my face.. even though my family erased it... Nark your a part of my family and i hope you can appreciate that.. lets go win November 10th!


Pics Dayna has alot of them on her cam like 90 maybe so i will make u guys sick when she send them... the post conest day ones i like the best really full in them...

diet as of now

Sunday I just ate protein bars/had some shakes and some trail mix/ plain chicken with salsa and lots of diet coke..

today again i just lots of coke.. and today i cheated a bit with some flavored oatmeal cookies and cream... and some sugar free cookies..

on my way to school i was like f-it i was one ripped guy everyone said so i went to 7-11 and bought about 12 bucks worth of snacks snickers, protein bar. trail mix bar, one large cookie, diet coke, oatmeal bar... at it about half and the other half on the way back

right now i just had chicken and broccli and some flavored oats (cookies and cream with a shake)

and some diet coke i have this oatmeal/pb/whey/sf pudding mix batter in the freezer but i will eat it later...

going to bed and try to hit am cardio tomorrow

i did workout on sunday the day after... i tried to do pwo cardio but did 5 mins and said screw this..

Congratulations! You looked really lean! I think you were a bit fuller the night before, be careful with taking too many diuretics, especially closer to the show as they have a 4-6 hour life span and you want them to be timed with when you step on stage. For example if you step on stage at 10:00 then your last pill should have been no later then 5-6am. One thing that has really worked for me in the past is fat loading. I liked it better then carb loading. If you wanted you can take this time after the show to experiment and see what foods work well for you. You have come a long way tho and we are all very proud of you.

Wow, you are AMAZING. i only have a sec. skimmed through. I did the exact same thing w/ chugging water and almost puking after my first show. ew, horrible feeling. overall, you kicked ass. i'll read further and get back to you after i leave work.
