My shoulder problem...

i was going to try and make this the first post, but i was unsuccesful!..oh well, here it is....

over the past few months my right shoulder has gotten harder and harder to get "loosened" up before workouts...i thought it was my joints so i hopped on this:

1gram glucosamine
1 gram Msm
split into 2 doses ED

The problem got worse so then i went to:
1.5 grams glucosamine/chondatin
1.5 grams MSM
split into 2 doses ED

So ive been taking these for over 2 months now...the problem is getting worse...

I used to be able to just do like 20 minutes of light warm-up stuff to get it loose and ready to go....workouts were somewhat painful, but now im too the point to where i can even do ANY over head presses...its now gotten so bad that incline presses on chest day are out of the question!...i can still do rows, lateral rasies, front raises, falt presses and flys w/o little or no problem...but anything over my head is now imposible...the other day i tried geting it warmed up and i couldnt move 20lb. DB's!!!

does this even sound like a joint problem....i beggining to think ive got ligament damage or something???

Bro it sounds to me like you might have a build up of scar tissue in the area. Have you ever heard of Rolfing ? This style of massage breaks down scar tissue. Has been helpful for many lifters with similar problems. You might want to check it out. A Bro of mine had same kind of pain . Unable to military or do incline. Got worked on and after a couple of sessions felt 10 years younger ( in weight lifting age )

That sounds similar to the impingement that I had. It was a form of calcium deposit that manifested on the lip of the rotator cuff. The only way to fix it was to have ole saw bones give it a go. I hope this is not what you have!

Your doc could get xrays and scans done for you to see if there might be deposits there, or what sort of damage there might be....scar tissue was my first thought when I read it...I actually had a similar problem with, believe it or not, a finger that had been bitten by a horse!!! Maybe have a referral for a massage therapist, physiotherapist, etc....I couldn't bend or straighten my finger after a while at all, and the physiotherapist I saw recommended some specific exercises, and after doing them faithfully, we are back to normal....apparently scar tissue.

Damn I have the same problem, I can't do military presses or the incline bench. Been to scared to go to the doctor, because I don't want to be operated on.
