Ok i went to the doctor this morning. He was actually cool as shit and said he thought about taking steroids a few times. Anyway i had him take blood for a liver and kidney panel, and i also took gave a urine sample that came back high in blood and protein. I'm gonna get the results and have someone on the boards decipher what it says. He asked me what i was taking and i said 100mg of testosterone propianate and 100mg of trenbolone acetate and 40mg dianabol a day, nolva and aromasin. He looked at me like DUH what are those? I shouldn't make fun he was really cool and said that he is still learning about steroids.

If it were me and nothing was helping and you REALLY feel that something is definately wrong I would dump EVERYTHING! No milkthistle, No ibuprofen, No lasix...........Nothing. Monitor you blood pressure, and if it is high and stays high then start Lasix at about 20 mg and then up it by 20 mg at a time until your bp gets within normal range. If this is something that had been going on for a while then I would find a doc. You could tell him that a few years ago you had some pain in your back and the hospital/doc/ or whoever ran a kidney panel and told you that you had a kidney infection, and that you are having the exact same symptoms now. Generally a family practice doctor will do what you suggest if you somewhat know what you are talking about because they really dont deal with critical medicine like an Internist, and usually want to cover all the bases. The main point though is to drop anything and everything that you can get rid of..............AS related or otherwise until you figure out if you are having kidney problems or not. Let us know what you find out.

Joeyz gave some real good advice....and this has been awhile, hasn't it? I wouldn't be concerned about the blood and protein yet, you need to see your lab work. I didn't realize you were still on cycle? Definitely drop it all IMO....your kidneys aren't worth it...although now that you'll have the lab back soon, and it's been so long, I guess it can wait til you get your labs....not something I would otherwise recommend though.

Ok the high bun and creatinine counts are mine. I'm talking to a specialist monday to schedule tests. They said my counts were pretty high, they called me while i was out of town with the results and told me to call the specialist asap. NN, JOEYZ, POWERLIFTER, should i be having pain, because right now i have no pain or visible blood in my urine. I want you all to know that i am going to get this taken care of, so don't worry. Let's use this as a learning experience for the younger guys.

Aaahh, mass, good to hear you're going to go....I know this has been a while. Pain is dependent on the person a lot...I've had some experience none at all, and some who are absolutely bent over and cannot move (but that has usually been due to some type of accident/trauma they were involved in, or a blockage of some type). The extent of damage plays a part. This is not to say that you actually HAVE acute renal failure...but you may be hovering on the edge....potassium levels are also usually elevated in ARF because the kidneys can't do their job....did you get that checked?
Please keep us updated....and I hope all goes well.

Like NN said, it varies from person to person. I had a kidney infection years back and was in a lot of pain. More often, it seems that people first experience some fluid retention before the pain and other symptoms kick in. As far as the blood goes, you can have elevated levels in you urine and cant see it. Ususally after it increses your urine will get kind of light pink.
