Thanks, bros, for the info. However, My BP has been rising slowly for the past year. Doc says it's because I'm getting older. Seems to happen to a lot of men my age and older. the Ziac seems to be helping but I guess it takes a while to lower it. I will be using those supps. I told you younger guys have a lot to look forward to!

Seasonedvet, do you eat many high glycmic carbs? Doing low glycemic carbs or the atkins type diet should regulate your BP IMO. But hey, i'm just some dumb bodybuilder!
No, I didn't have any caffeine beforehand because I had been on a 12-hour fast to have blood tests, too. I try to stay away from high glycemic carbs; in fact I hardly eat carbs. I'm just getting older and better all the time.

I've been up 173/76 using one of those Omron machines on the AS. It worried me at first but my HRT doctor put me on a machine that measured the flexibility of my arteries by measuring the echo after the heart pumped. The idea is that stiff arteries create a different echo pattern than flexible ones. He also had me do a calcium CAT which showed no calcification in the heart.

I guess I could still get a stroke but it would appear that the cardiovascular side is OK. I should mention that at the time I was playing ice hockey for about 6 hours per week so I was in reasonable shape.

Bro keep us posted. Remember very common for systolic pressure to get higher as you get older. It is diastolic you should worry about.

Sorry I wasn't here to answer, but I see all went well, and I really can't think of anything to add, except that with such an elevated BP, you really should be careful taking stimulants....careful monitoring of both BP and pulse.

Yeah, I was taking Stacker 3 but stopped as soon as I found out about my BP. Checked my BP this morning; it was 135/90. Ziac seems to be working. Going to increase cardio. My resting heart rate is 60. I f I remember anything else, I'll let you know
