Rep Power: 5 ![]() | I've been up 173/76 using one of those Omron machines on the AS. It worried me at first but my HRT doctor put me on a machine that measured the flexibility of my arteries by measuring the echo after the heart pumped. The idea is that stiff arteries create a different echo pattern than flexible ones. He also had me do a calcium CAT which showed no calcification in the heart. I guess I could still get a stroke but it would appear that the cardiovascular side is OK. I should mention that at the time I was playing ice hockey for about 6 hours per week so I was in reasonable shape. |
