Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Re: Cancer and Lifting Additionally, i have had a serious abdominal surgery related to the cancer and have a tremendous amount of scare tissue. I stretch before any type of exercise, but keep pulling and stretching the scar tissue. Any suggestions? |

For your scar tissue..keep it oiled(I like E); if its real bad you might consider wrapping area with big ace(or even one of those velcro body wraps) while lifting to limit stretch. |

Rep Power: 10 ![]() | Re: Cancer and Lifting What limitations did the doctor who placed the port put on you? Usually with anything placed in the chest such as a port, pacemaker, ect...............there are lifting limitations due to the risk of dislodging the placement of the device.
