If ear problems are genetic you may as well get used to the idea of tubes in her ears. I was plagued with the same problems as H until my parents had them put tubes in. I know i already told you this in person but maybe if you read it IT WILL SINK THRU YOUR THICK SKULL. Better for her to suffer for a lil while and be better then to be plagued with this problem for years. Either way i trust your judgement i know your a damn good mom.

AT...I know I have a thick skull (after all I must to have put up with you for this long lol) but she has been through alot already I hate the thought of surgery but if she has to have them then so be it. Anything to make healthy and feel better.

And a lil update. Well this round of antibiotics seemed to help alot more then the other ones. But she is still having ear pain. Right now she also has a cold so I think that might be part of it as well. I am taking her to the dr next thursday so I will update you all then with what he has to say.

Tell your doctor you want to try Septra. My daughter has to be on a Prophylactic antibiotic since the day she was born. It has worked amazing and the dosage is pretty low as well. I am surprised that the Dr. didn't start your daughter off with this one right from the beginning as it is used very often in the treatment of ear infections and it has a great sucess rate. Well I took Hailey to the dr yesterday because the poor lil thing is sicker then I have ever seen her.

She has strep throat. She is barely eating and has been running a fever. On top of that the ear infection is way worse then it was before.

My dr. is sending her to a ENT (ear, nose and throat) peds specialist. He said he doesnt see her getting any better with out the surgery. He is also going to recommend to the dr that Hailey have her tonsils removed as well.

I am taking her to the ENT next week Thurday so I will update then. Im telling ya this is tough though. I have barely slept in the past week with her being so sick. I sit up with her at night and rock her so she can breath better while she sleeps.

^^^ Wow where do you live? My girl just came down with strep and is running 103! It's going around up state NY where we live. Sorry to hear, I hate when little kids get sick because there's nothing you can do for them besides hope that whatever the doc gives them works (Which I found out is not close to all the time)

i hope and pray that she gets better, i have a 4 year old brother who until recently had the same problem and wasnt until he had tubes put in his ears would get any better, i know its miserable for the both of you and will be praying for her

I hope she gets better babygirl.. I know what its like to have sick kids.. I would get the tubes put in and let her have good times.. Try and get some rest and not worry as much, of course I know this is not possible when your little angel is sick.. God bless
