I haven't read all of the passages in the Book of Mormon that they gave, but I have been praying to ask if it is of God. The thing I am struggling with the most is Joseph Smith. Aside from that, I really like the Mormon's teachings. Alot of it, is stuff I have always thought anyways. I would like to get some more feedback, but I should probably look into a religious forum of some sort. |

The bible deals geographically with Europe/ Asia. The Mormon religion is big on families and family values. Specifically young growing families. They have their own welfare system. If you are out of work and your family needs to be fed, they will take care of you. However, you do not get to sit on your but watching daytime TV. You are required to work in some volunteer capacity until you are back on your feet. |

I pretty much knew that Mormon's don't have anything to do with polygamy now, it's just a few extremists in Utah, who are not associated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. But I did joke with the Elder's about having a few wives regardless. Trollund, I appreciate your feedback, and had no idea that Mormons had their own welfare system. I like what I have been hearing from the Elder's, but what are some reasons why you are no longer associated the Latter-Day Saints? I want to make sure I am looking that this thing from a few different angles. |

Follow what the Elders teach you my friend, they know a good deal about it all. If you want, we can chat whenever you want. Hit me up on Yahoo IM, my screen name is bodebldr2000
