Well tonight we went to an awards ceremony at our local Technical College where I graduated last year and now I'm an adjunct instructor there. I was to receive an award for the Most Outstanding Alumni for 2003-2004. Chelle, our son, and I went however, we didn't think to tell our boy what we were doing there. The first awardee was not there so they announced and moved on. I was the next awardee and when they announced my name my son...almost yelling says " HEY, THATS MY DADDY!" Well for those of you with kids you know he almost choked me up as I was walking up there. He said it a couple more times and I tell ya I had to try and block him out so I didn't choke up on stage. He sure was proud of old pops. :D

hehe... thats GREAT swamp... same thing happened to me when i was on-stage and my son yelled "THATS MY DAD!"

Maybe Im dating myself here (not like IM old or anything) BUT Strawberry Short Cake was what I grew up with. God I love the fact that all the cool things that I played with back then are coming back around :)
