Banking Question - Bounced check

does anyone know at what point when I deposit a check do I not have to worry about it bouncing? I received a check from someone who I dont necessarily trust, its a pretty good sized check so I sort of need to use the money from it right away, but Im worried about it bouncing, once the money shows up in my account can the bank still pull it out within 1 day if it was in fact a bad check? or once the deposit posts do I definitely have that money? (and more importantly do you know for sure)


and yes when I go to deposit the check I will probably just ask :fingers2:

nope, its from a small business services bank

so once the depost is actually posted (like if I check online) am I 100% in the clear? or could it still be pulled?

when did u deposit it? also is the full amount showing up in your account? if so, you are in the clear

i havent deposited it yet, but if im in the clear once the full amt shows on my online statement thats what I needed :thumbup:
