If so, u gotta check with the institution of where u r financing ur car with...they have standards of what u have to have for insurance on that car. Usually its the normal fire/theft/collision (or atleast in the state of MA it is) If ur buying the car outright then u can put whatever kind of insurance u want on it. But may I suggest, if its a newer car...then get all the bells and whistles. If anything happens to it...ur shit out of luck ;)

If you live in a home, add it to your home coverage and that should bring it down..or if you rent find out if they offer renters insurance and get the car and the renters with them..

Rep Power: 8  | Re: Auto Insurance???? I hate car insurance, mine went up when i first bought my car because 1. i am under 25, 2. Its a sport compact (easily modified and they know it), 3. Because it is yellow ( yes i cant believe it either, because its yellow they made it more expensive! ) ....

| Re: Auto Insurance???? no matter how you turn it around, if you want to insure your car amply, its got to cost more than you want! depending on crime in your area, etc..rates will vary from city to city BUT, men are always higher than woman...some companies offer great discounts to good students?!!? or clean licenses...etc... i have 4 cars in my house...we have used state farm for over 10 years...it cost me (well me and hubby) ummmmmmmm almost 9 grand a year for the 4 cars to have insurance...ok, one kid pays his share ...thats with two boys under 25-- who both have NO points...my younger one gets 1000 a year deducted for being a good student.. ok, via experience and having a personal training client who owns an agency, i know a lot about this stuff so PM me if you have any questions........... good luck with the car AND BE SAFE! |
