Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Windows 64-bit Edition! I just got a new laptop today...3.8 ghz 64 bit AMD processor, 512 Ram, 80 gig harddrive, 9600 Radeon video card....And i'm wanting to get the new windows 64 bit edition since my laptop is compatable with it. Now, here is the problem... I have a program on my computer by factory default (i have an E-machine) called Roxio CD/DVD creator. Now I downloaded windows 64 bit edition, and the file extension is .iso ...unfortunatley, thats the same format as the Roxio CD/DVD creator. So when I try to run the file, it opens Roxio CD/DVD creator preparing it to write that file to a disc...Any ideas on how to fix this??? |

If you read the directions on the MS download page it even states this: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/6...n/upgrade.mspx |
