The Suffering's "M" rating is well deserved. Developer Surreal Software infused every frame of the game, which takes place inside a haunted prison, with horrific atmospherics. Playing as a man convicted of murdering his family, gamers will have to gun down former death row denizens who have returned as ghouls, zombies, and various other forms of undead.

the Suffering reminds me a lot of Manhunt, graphically and conceptually, but I guess the comparison stops here. I mean, look at that guy!? who's gonna be willing to play with such a prick ? :jerkit:

Part of the game's story will revolve around your piecing together Torque's past and discovering whether he's been framed in some way or if the myriad of unsettling voices you hear as ambient noise may all be the psychotic chatter of a troubled mind.

Release date says 03/08/04 for PS2 not sure when PC ver is coming out :(
