Safer surfing?

I was reading an article about surfing the net through a USB memory stick..load up your browser there, and all info, cookies ect go there too...just unplug when you are finished.
Seems that some info would still go to the hardrive...anyone?

i would think that eventhough u have a usb in there, that somethin in the comp, would record where uve been
but i really duno

i suppose it woudl be possible install a browser like firefox to a usb drive..but it would run pretty slow i would think..it coould be worth trin thouhg..

Yeah - I think Firefox has a mobile browser released... or you just install the current software pack onto the drive and boot it up from there. I do not see how USB 2.0's connections speed would slow you down any... your internet connection will usually be your bottle neck. And I don't see how it would store files out side the directory it made on the USB drive... other than error logs and what not... fuk it, try it...
