| A year long Cycle!!!! Ok I usually don't post Because you guys know to damn much already and I really was lacking in cycle knowledge, but lets get your thoughts on this! I went to a Doc and got the expensive stuff legally I started out at 197lbs and used about 500mg Cyp a week I made gains as everyone does at first and then I hit a wall at about 220lbs in about twelve weeks. So decided to try going long term like Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) So After another 4 weeks of running 1200mg a week there were a few lbs added but nothing big. So I was thinking receptor saturation. So I lowered the Cyp to two shots of 125mg twice a week for the next 4 weeks I lost no weight and was maintaining a more even weight than before ( Morning I would by 10lbs lighter than the afternoon) instead I was about 2lbs diff!! After that I started hitting high doses again with no real gains in size. Then I added dbol, deca, Sust instead of Cyp and throughout the year I always cycling down after a few months or so to try and stop Receptor Saturation!! I took one pill of estrogen blocker every other day and switched blockers to help combat my body getting use to the drugs!! I also took HGC shots every couple of weeks! The moral of the story is I stayed at 220lbs not matter what I tryed!! It is my conclusion that higher doses of test do not work better than MEDIUM doses the reasoning is that if your estrogen levels follow your test levels with higher doses if you do Not combat estrogen, then higher doses of test won't matter. What I didn't know was that when running higher doses of test you should run higher doses of some kind of estrogen blocker to keep the levels at a minimum (What do high doses of blockers do to your body because I don't know!!!) But Think about it the more test you have the more estrogen SO WOULDN"T you need more estrogen blocks to block more estrogen??? AND I also learned that after sustaining a Specific weight for six months your body naturally reconfigures to the that weight!! So I'm clean 3months and still 220-225lbs The last week after my year was up I started PCT 2 shots of HCG for 2 weeks 2500mg 4 shots total and clomid 100mg first week and 50mg the second and third weeks everyday three days later I had my blood work done and my free test was 487 out of 400-700 And everything else was normal well minus A high redcell count!!! So I believe with proper steps blocking estrogen and atrophy. Longer doses ONLY effects the WALLET!!!

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Re: A year long Cycle!!!! I agree with you on most of the points u made here. Im still a bit clueless as to why u wasnt happen with a 20lb + weight gain after 16 weeks. I've done cycles for close to a year and I have also done them a short time. I do agree with your body adjusting to weight gain after longer cycles. I kept the same body weight for years until I started doing longer cycles. So saying this...would u still say medium cycles are best?? |

| Re: A year long Cycle!!!! I was trying to bust 230lbs I never weighed over that. It seems to be my sticking point and when I did get 230lbs and come off cycles I would lose weight so I was trying to get my body past that point. Which I Should do with the next cycle!! A medium cycle would in my mind work the best because when you raise test you raise estrogen and taking blockers will only separate the two to a certain point I DON"T THINK you can completely shut down estrogen no matter how much of blockers you throw at it it!! So you would in my opinion be wasting money adding more test!! Now the real question is how much of Tama or Nolv you can take until it becomes over kill and it's wasted and, How much Does it actually suppress the estrogen!! Because estrogen is the main inhibitor to test in my Opinion the more you block or suppress estrogen the greater your gains will be!!

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Re: A year long Cycle!!!! I agree here that longer durations allows the body to adjust to the additional weight gain. Dave Palumbo refers to this as "Set Point". Shorter cycles you have the initial weight gain, then you cease the cycle. The bodies organs systems have not had a chance to accept the new weight per se therefore making it harder to keep the gains. The past two years I have run a 7 month cycle, and an 8 months cycle this year. I don't go overboard on dosages. I believe slow and steady wins the race. At the same time, I do believe you need to give the body a significant break to allow hpta to return to normal. For myself that has been a 4 month break. However, I scale back my training using the less is more approach, continue to eat high protein. I keep taking my creatine, and nitric oxide. I also make use of a good pct. The only thing I do not agree with totall here is the idea that you need to totally eliminate estrogen. Estrogen serves alot of different purposes. For starters, without estrogen there would be no natural IGF1 release, your sex drive would suffer (believe it or not), and your cholesterol values would be very unfavorable. We do need some estrogen. Control is key, not total elimination.

| Re: A year long Cycle!!!! I thought I would need a longer PCT also but after I had my blood checked I was Impressed that it was at a normal level!!! But I did take clomid for a couple more weeks weeks just to be on the safe side!! Any advice on continually gaining weight I stopped gaining complete after a few months. This time I'm going to train more using my max weight (BIG weight = Big muscles) and lots of hard cardio (hills and the bike set on level 9) I have a very High metabolism and I usually avoid cardio!!!
