is it possible to get a seal that doesnt rotate with a hand crimper, or will the aluminium skirt still be able to move

Yes you can seal w/ a crimper. You don't need a crimper to seal vials other items work as well.

other items as in? my main question was will a hand crimper give a professional finish, i.e no movement at all of aluminium skirt?

yes a hand crimper works the same as a pneumatic crimper. the only difference is ones air powered and the other is man powered

it depends on the seal some will rotate but squeeze it as hard as you can and most will be tight you may need a new crimper bro

Hey Guys, What's up....

I have never posted but have read alot on the site, (and learned alot). I read this post and just couldn't resist telling ya'll what I use to crimp with. I use a pair of hand held by-pass pruning shears. I know it sounds crazy but I wasn't about to pay $150.00 to $200.00 for a pair of crimpers, so I got serious about finding an alternative. I thought about what I needed to do and what would do this without breaking the vial. I'll try to get a pic of them and post it here. I've been using these for 2 years and have broken 1 vial. That's 1 out of about 80.
And yes, I could have bought a set of crimpers. But after these worked so good, I guess it was the principle of the thing.
And they look just as good and are as tight as the vials I recieved from some big time labs.
