I read this post and just couldn't resist telling ya'll what I use to crimp with. I use a pair of hand held by-pass pruning shears. I know it sounds crazy but I wasn't about to pay $150.00 to $200.00 for a pair of crimpers, so I got serious about finding an alternative. I thought about what I needed to do and what would do this without breaking the vial. I'll try to get a pic of them and post it here. I've been using these for 2 years and have broken 1 vial. That's 1 out of about 80. And yes, I could have bought a set of crimpers. But after these worked so good, I guess it was the principle of the thing. And they look just as good and are as tight as the vials I recieved from some big time labs. Just FYI and my 2 cents. |
