Coffee filters keep breaking

I am doing my prop conversion. I get to the point when I finally filter the clumpy liquid & the coffee filters dont hold under the weight.

Do I just pull the old coffee filter out, let it sit & dry then use another.
Should I use 2 coffee filters??

Is my Prop screwed up now?

How long can my prop sit unfiltered like this??

Try 2 or go with a higher quality filter; not likely to have hurt your raw product, although it may absorb more of your mix than usual and reduce your yield

Thx, I have now put my remaining powder into my oil. I wound up with 6 grams, so I removed 25cc's of oil...
I was provided two Whatman filters. Both clogged fairly quickly & I was only able to filter about 70% of my gear until it became impossible to push anymore oil through. I am planning on ordering an additional filter & finishing it up as soon as it arrives.
How long will the now premixed solution keep, if it is in a cool dark place; or should I say, Is the remainder lost after a certain period of time??

Please help, struggling home-brewer

I would think as long as the apperance hasn't chanced you are good to go.If discolorization begins then I would chunk it.

Next conversion when you get to the part where your filtering the binders out(pouring into a coffee filter) use a painters mask instead, much much easier and no chance of it breaking.

Also after you have your powder rinsed you HAVE to make sure, this cannot be stressed enough, but you have to make sure that your powder is COMPLETELY dry or it will clog your filters so fast. You should have no problem filtering through 2 filters with this conversion if the powder is completely dry.

ive used a painters cap not mask , i found the cap filters easily, while the mask takes a lifetime
