Breakfast Foods!!!

Pancakes

I don't know what your intake is but a quick recipe (you can modify)

1/2 cup oatmeal
6 whites
1 scoop Protein Powder
1 tablespoon flax seed or flax meal
cinnamon to taste
(water if needed)

Depending on the type of protein you use you may not need any sweetener, I don't.
Eat them w/ sugar free syrup or jam or just alone…

If you're trying to gain!
Try putting some peanut butter in there, and sliced bananas on top to garnish... its really good!

Sweet Banana Oatmeal

1/2 cup Skim Plus
2 Tablespoons Flax Seed Meal
1/2 cup Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
1 banana
1 serving of Vanilla Protein Powder

Combine all ingredients, except oatmeal, in a microwave safe bowl, blend until smooth.
Then stir in oatmeal and microwave for 2 minutes. Great for making the night before, refrigerates well!

Low Carb Pancakes:

Since Sour Dough bread has about half the amount of carbs and fat, I use it.

4 slices of Sour Dough bread
3 egg whites
1 whole egg
1/4 cup of splenda or sugar twin
3-4 tbsp ground cinimon (can use less if you want)
1/4 cup low-fat milk

First mix the splenda and cinimon together in a bowl. Add egg whites and the whole egg, low fat milk, and as much cinimon/splenda mixture as desired. Mix all ingredients well with a fork. dip bread in the mixture well on both sides and cook in pan or skillet until brown on both sides. Serve with sugar free syrup.
