Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Re: type and frequencyof cardio? i do low intensity cardio first thing in the morning 5-6 day/week, and train very intensely usually 5 days a week. i started cutting about 1 month ago, and it is going very very well. i have spring break comming up in just over 1 month and i want to be shredded, i am pretty cut right now, but not where i want to be yet. i have been reading some interesting things about high intensity interval type cardio, and i am planning on adding this in 2-3 days/week on top of what i already do. my question is how long of a duration do i need to do this type of cardio to get good results? |

Rep Power: 5 ![]() | Re: type and frequencyof cardio? I would recommend 20-30 minutes........the good thing about HIIT cardio is that you will burn fat long after your cardio is over. If I do too much too often,I start to lose size in my legs and legs are a weak point so I rarely go over 30 minutes.......start out with 20 minutes and adjust according to your results. Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Re: type and frequencyof cardio? ok so i will start with 20 min a few times per week on top of my regular cardio, split up of course. my legs have always been natuarlly big (except calves), so im not too worried about losing any size, thanks for the advice |
