Rep Power: 0 ![]() | After seeing pro bodybuilder Markus Rühl executing an unorthodox biceps exercise in his Made in Germany DVD, I decided to pay tribute to the amazing athlete and named the particular movement after him. To execute the movement, you need to grab the cambered bar, pull the weight down toward you, lean on your back and position your legs on the steel rods of the pulley machine. When at ease on the bench, pull the weight toward your shoulders and squeeze at the top to get a good biceps contraction. To complete the movement, lower the weight to the starting position with your back flat on the bench. Let the biceps to the work and try not to move the shoulders and elbows. The Rühl Pull exercise benefits: · Great isolation of the biceps muscles · Engorges the biceps muscles with blood · Gives an extreme pump, even with light weights What Markus Rühl has to say about the exercise: “You can isolate your biceps pretty good when you do this. With this exercise, I use very light weight because I really concentrate on my biceps. I do 3 sets of about 12 to 25 repetitions.” |
