How many of you guys train sick?

Honestly i have a bad habit of lifting straight right through it. Thats prabably whi i stay sick longer than i prabably should. I feel like shit when im sick, if i dont lift AND im sick i feel like shit and a fat ass...........

i go by the neck method......if symptoms are only above the neck I still train...if they go below I lay off......in the past ive tried to train throgh a chest cold/flu type sh*t and it only makes it worse

Currently....i have a mild sinus infection, and a shredded throat. Still hittin the gym.....i know i shouldnt though. Hitting the vitamin c hard, i dont take meds for being sick.....i only take meds that make my body look better...lol.

lifting with a sinus infection will do 2 things....1 you will be sick longer because you are blunting your recovery 2 you wont make any gains in fact you are torching yor muscles cuz they arent going to recover like they would when you are totally healthy......in my non-professional, dime store doctor opinion you should get your ass in bed and recover for a few days....then hit it up again on monday.....2 days off wont kill you.....it'll be better for you in the long run and that what we all go for in this game....

Trust me.........i tell myself that everytime im on my way to the gym when im sick...lol.

personally, when you're sick, i believe your body is begging for rest and recovery. my advice to everyone, clients included: when you're sick, take time off...the gym will still be there when you recover. PLUS, when you train sick, you're more susceptible to injury. I tore my meniscus while training w/ strep. and my hammy while...wellll lets forget that story!
