They do check medical records in instances, and you can be denied medical insurance. It's an unnecessary risk when looking at your future.

That's simply wrong information. I called a friend of mine that's an underwriter for an insurance company and he said that if they checked the med records of every applicant, no one would ever get insurance.

They do! If you are going to be neive and think that shit doesnt end up on your medical record, your very wrong. Everything and everytime you go to a doctor, for the smallest of things, is documented well, I might add. They have to do this for everything, to make sure they are covering there steps, offering the right advice, giving the right diagnosis, and to make sure that your chart is complete incase anything was to happen. Also doctors have to keep your medical file, insurance companies will reveiw your file from time to time, especially on policy renewels and payments. Plus your medical file can be reviewed by the American Medical Society aka..The Board..if anything was to happen to you. If the doctor didn't cover his steps, in detail and something happend...he could have charges brought on him...so to say that this doesnt happen is ridiculous...please watch yourself when your doing this...but also for the love of god, if you feel like something is wrong get to a doc...your life isnt worth a bad medical file!

Oh yeah for sure, but if serious complications arise then a doc might be the only place to go..but Im telling ya that shit is documented well.
