You may opt to use the Nolva during the cycle rather than after. I recomend use during for the simple reason of being proactive rather than reactive. If you notice sensitivity in the nipples (and or itching), or if you notice swelling that is because your body is already responding to the estrogen. You might as well err on the side of caution for minimal monetary cost. | |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I was planning on either a 10 or a 12 week cycle, but prefferably a 10 week cycle. Being the first time, is there a problem with the shorter 10 week cycle? I keep hearing that I NEED to do a 12 week cycle for the first time, just wondering what factors make this critical. Also, I love to run and swim. How does this affect when just going for 30 min max, or 3 spurts for 10 min's a piece, making sure that the cardio is at least 8 hours seperate from the weight training? |

I would say ten weeks is the absolute MAX, preferably even less. Being your first time, you could even shorten it to eight weeks. Most people I know (this is purely individual) notice that the gains slow down sometime around week 6-8 anyway. There's just nothing (scientific or otherwise) that says you have to stay ON for any definite length of time. It seems like people recommend twelve weeks because that's what everyone else does and they don't want to think for themselves. I would say why not start with eight weeks? You can always go longer as you gain more experience. This is all just my opinion, but I think too many newbs overdo it when they could get the same gains with less sides and an easier post cycle recovery by using shorter cycles. As for the cardio I think it can only help healthwise, especially if you are an endomorphic body type. If you are trying to gain mass and you are more ectomorphic, I would reduce the volume a bit though and maybe cut it in half. Just my .02.
