Rep Power: 4 ![]() | Sienna was in the room when I was on the radio... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here's the deal...I got a last minute call to be on the radio and do a show on steroid side effects, Myth vs/ Reality...I got the call on Friday night and was on the radio, the next day at noon...so this is all totally off the cuff remarks from me...here is the streaming audio, E-mailer, podcast info, etc.. and links that were sent out, if you wanna listen: Quote: Anthony Roberts author of Anabolic Steroids: Ultimate Research Guide answers many of the questions about anabolic steroids that we couldn't get to during his first interview due to running out of time. We discuss cycle lengths, side effects, risk -vs- rewards, and more. Anthony is a true friend of the SHR show. He agreed to do the interview at the last minute when I learned that the previous guest couldn't. Anabolic Steroids: Ultimate Research Guide - http://www.anabolicbooks.com/ You can listen to the stream here http://www.superhumanradio.com/...shr_archive.htm You can download the Podcast using iTunes or by visiting any of the top Podcast directories or paste the URL below into your favorite Podcast aggregator software. http://www.superhumanradio.com/...how_podcast.xml ... Ohh...and...Sienna got a long chance to look over my book this weekend too...so...if anyone wants to ask her anything about it...

(hows that for a run-on?!) he wasn't using notes, reading or referencing. he didn't have a list of questions or any subject matter prior to the show. in fact, (correct me if i'm wrong, Anthony) but i think the originally planned topic was switched during the show. i was (more than) extremely impressed. hooker has this amazing ability to take any subject, no matter how complicated and simplify it into comprehendable terms - -and make it so the rest of us (his audience: whether that be his listeners, his readers, his players that he coaches, or just any bullshit conversation) can understand. he does it w/ everything - i tell him all the time, he's a "teacher," an educator by nature! That said, I saw his book a few months ago - literally just looked at the cover and flipped some pages. I didn't read it then and honestly I never had any intent to read it. I don't mean that in a terribe way, I meant i was figuring why bother...if I ever have any questions, I can just ask him in person. He got a phone call at one point when I was with him this w/e, the book happened to be sitting next to me, so i picked it up and started flipping through it while he was talking. I was 3 sentances into the chapeter on how to give yourself an injection, looked at him and said, "No offense but I never planned on reading your book - - but after reading only 3 sent. I need to read it cover to cover." The book is written in a manner that makes u want to keep reading. Yeah, its a great reference book w/ lots of science, of course but its written in that witty hooker way, as stated above that makes it easy for non science minded people to understand and enjoy. for anyone who has not had the pleasure of having a conversation w/ him in real life, reading the book is just like talking to him. its engaging, interactive and parts are just plain funny. in the past, i plugged it...well...b/c hooker is a good friend, but honestly i'd plug it now more so b/c it is just a really good book. so hook...are u impressed w/ me that i could be quiet for an hour during your gig Sienna :imwithstu
