| Member ![]() | How to get accurate advice in this forum I see many - let me rephrase... I see a lot of questions regarding the use of anabolic-androgenic steroids (AAS) that fail to really provide enough information to get good responses. Lets set an example at MuscleSci for not only good responses - but a good format in asking questions. After all, when you go see a doctor - he/she doesn't just fill out a script and send you on your way, right? You first fill out a medical history profile and sit in on a physical. On AAS message boards your physical consists of the personal information you provide us to give you the best advice. Research is Paramount Please take the time to research previous threads in the MuscleSci database... you may find a thread where only a week prior your question was answered with very verbose explanations. If you show up and ask the same thing - the same good responses are not likely to occur. Plus, via research you can come up with a more specific quesiton that will attract good responses. Your Thread Title How you word your title can reflect in how many views you actually receive. A simple, "Check this out!" or "Please Read"... or other buzz words will not work nearly as much as you'd think. Putting something like, "Winstrol Advice Needed" is more likely to not only get you the views you are looking for but to attract those most familiar with winstrol. Writing Your Post How you write your posts will set the stage to how it gets answered. If you give us a one sentance, "Is testosterone effective as a muscle builder?" - then IMO, the best answer is, "Yes!" But if you provide your personal stats and history - then you will get better results... more well-rounded answers. People are more likely to help you when you provide them with the information to do so. Information to include in your AAS questions: Age and Sex - Your age and sex determines many things. And as far as your endocrine system goes - you have a lot of difference in your endogenous cocktail of hormones. One female to another female can have a 3 fold difference in natural testosterone levels. The difference in males can go around a 12 fold variation. This stuff is important. When over 30 years old, simple HRT becomes a valid option. But under 21, there is a lot going on in your endocrine system that can effect how you mature. Age and sex plays a big role. Height, Weight and Bodyfat - there is a difference in what it would take to see significant gains in a man 6'2" at a lean 250 pounds than an individual who is 5'8" at 160 pounds. Plus, if you have pushed yourself past genetic limitations - you would require a bit more to keep going. Annnnnnd... the more lean body mass you have, the more androgen recpetors for a different risk to benefit ratio in higher doses. Training Experience - you need to have a sound history in the gym to prepare yourself for exogenous androgen use. There is no magic pill. Jumping straight into AAS use will put your connective tissue and ability to retain gains at risk. Cycle history - this lets us know what you are already familiar with and how to use it. Also if any know allergies or unwanted side effects exist. Goals - telling what it is that you want to accomplish can help people respond with much better options... a more tailored cycle. Like, if you are looking to stack 400mg of Nandrolone and 750mg of Testosterone but your goal for the cycle is to just help retain LBM while dieting and not gain too much weight - than their are much better options. Posting a cycle - how you post your cycle will get you different responses... such as, This is the bad example: Quote:
