Rep Power: 4 ![]() | Hi I'm new to this site, I just wanted to introduce myself and what I am doing now. Tell my goals and experience and hopefully yall could give me some advice on what i should change. I'm 18 yrs old and I have been working out under my dad sense I was about 14. My dad is a bodybuilder and has taught me just about everything I know, he is my inspiration and my idle. Although I have had hard times sticking with it in the past, I have been going to the gym 5 days a week for about 6months now. I've learnt a lot about supplements, work out routines and dieting over the past 6 months. I want to know more and improve my physical appearance, most of all i want to gain more size. The facts: Workout routine. 5 days a week ussually in this order.. Monday: Quads, hams, Abs, cardio Tuesday: Chest, Calves, cardio wednesday: back,lats, abs, cardio thursday: shoulders, traps, calves, Cardio friday: Triceps,Biceps,abs , cardip I hit each muscle group(quads,triceps,chest..etc) with 3 different workouts each 3 sets to failure which i try to keep around 10-12 reps. Cardio, i do 20 minutes after my weight training. walking at an incline and keeping my heart rate around 150. Supplements: FenoTest: 2 pills twice a day(6 weeks on, 2 weeks off) L arginine, L lysine, Folic acid, sea kelp, omega 3,green tea extract, viatman E and C. An amino acid liquid with loads free form amino acids and isopure which i immediately after workouts before i cook dinner. A fat burner in the morning and with lunch, Currently Ephedra 25mg twice a day. I have been expiramenting with T3 by taking 2 drops in the morning and enjoying the boost. Diet: Currently im trying to lean up a little more for the holidays. so im taking most carbs out, except for sweet potatoes, brown rice, complex carbs? i think they are called. So thats the basic breakdown. If there is anything yall could help me with then i would be very grateful. Again i would like to be bigger, huge even. I want to be a bodybuilder. But good to have you around bro I think that you might be doing to much to get more size ... first the Cardio has to go.. It very hard to get big and stay lean you need to eat and eat more and work out heavy that is my thought that is what worked for me... I look at it like this if reps made you big a marathon runner would have tree trunk legs ... do one warm up and then go to 80% of your max and do three set of 3 to 5 then when you can get 3 on the last set add weight always stay around 80% of your max and they have to grow then you can go to rep and lean out after you have hit the size you want... that is just my opinion and you will get 1000 different answer to this question bro you just need to find what works best for you .. Rep Power: 4 ![]() | well, I still got a lot of fat I would like to get rid of before i go to straight bulking... I'm at 14%body fat now and I want to get down to about 6-8% before I start bulking and adding more fat back on.... I've never been very lean and I want to get rid of this flab so when i weigh in and all i know that its muscle im gaining.. now with the scale it basicly stays at 175, but i can see my body transforming.. its kinda wierd What's a good goal for my max bench? It was 220 the last time I tried. Do i absolutely have to work legs, if so, can i just do machines? My dad says i have to do squats, and i fucking hate them. Is it a good ideal to get lean before i try to get big? (i dont want to look fat!) Thanks for the feedback, please keep it coming. Im going to the gym now. BACK DAY woohoo P.S. I would use 175 for your bench then work up from there and your dad is right squats will do so more for you then the machines it works the whole body bro it would be easier in my opinion to use the weight you have on now and just work with it if you want to do some fat burning just do 20 minute at a steady pace nothing to fast ... Oh not in Vermont I can't help you any more LOL!!! like I care where you are bro just ask and I will give you my opinion and help if I can |
