Hairloss Question

I'm not losing my hair...knock on wood, but I was wondering how many of you guys are going bald, and what are you doing about it? Do you just shave your head, hair transplant, propecia? And what would you guys recommend on just as a precaution?

Proscar is great for hairloss, but alot of bodybuilders employ it to combat the excess
DHT that is present on a heavy androgen cycle as it can cause the prostate to become inflamed making it hard to urinate.

Finasteride. I hear you can take as little as 1 mg per day, and even in this dosage it should block the testosterone - DHT conversion!?

Again, I would suggest Dutasteride for those looking to stop Male Pattern Baldness or even benign prostatic hyperplasia, its a newer science compared to propcia (finasteride) as it blocks two forms of DHT. Though chemically both are similar, dutasteride has had more success clinically.

Thanks for clearifying that. I thought finasteride was just the generic with the same qualities. What's the recommended dosage?

.5mgs ed. At the store, its 30mL .5 mgs/mL. (10 pumps=1mL) Here is something to look at too. Its not the graph I had in mind but its quite interesting.
