Forum Ideas

Just wanted some input from you guys,

do you like the way the AS forums are right now? Should there be a seperate forum for powders? Like at bolex they have "chemisty forums" with powders/synovex/tren.

If I added that on the main page I'd probably remove the "journal" forums so there isn't 1000 forums on the main page, and since no one has used them yet anyways :D

What about the "AS Profiles" forum? Needed? Not needed? Should just put that info in the AS forum? It's fine where it is?

Articles forum? At first I thought it was a nice idea to keep some of the good info seperate, so if there gets to be a lot of traffic it's still easy to sort through that forum...but I'm wondering if it's easy to "forget" about that forum and miss the info...or should they be in both places, the AS forum and the articles forum, the one in the articles forum locked and the one in the AS forum open for debate?

i think a "chemistry forum" would be great... some of us dummies who arent good with simple math could definitly use the help... plus, after a while, 99% of the possible questions should be answered... then it could get filtered to the "articles forum"... where it would be archived and easily accessable for a vet or even the most newest member. i'd keep the articles forum cause someones always writing a very well thought out, researched, scientific post... maybe change it to the "must read" forum... i think you could save space with the training journal forum... most will just post in the "my cycle" forum, that way its a complete start to finish with results read for the members... just my thoughts.

|--[\\\]>------- I agree, keep the articles forum and a chem. forum would be sweet..having more posts like that one that pertains to making powders into injs. is awsome...printed it out and keeping that in my folder for 'bathroom reading" material.

I added the new section for chemistry, moved a few threads while I was at it, kinda like it more this way as I know I am very interested in powders so its nice to have all that info by itself and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

If anyone has any other ideas/tips yet feel free to add them (or just comments to my original post)

I agree, the new people can benefit from these. Also, this is not a new idea but how about a best of the best forum for the most informative and educational threads. In which only the mods can place approved threads. That way people can get a complete run down on something right away without having to search through hundrends of threads.

The best of the best forum was kind of what I had in mind with the Articles forum, I thought if someone were to say, hey this thread has lots of good info in it, then I could copy it over to that forum, and possibly remove any "bump" "good read" type posts in it so its just the good info of the thread....

Should I possibly rename that forum? I know articles doesnt really describe that very well

Ya, I would rename it. Possably even put it in caps or something. Before I read the above post I hadn't noticed it. Glad its there though.
