Yeah, but Mike Miller squatted more, like 1200lbs, I think it's the world record, but I'm not sure

I would suggest switching it up. Doing a workout that included all negatives with heavy weights. If your goal is just to gain strength. It would be a shock to the muscles where as doing a couple of sets of negatives every workout would be something your body would adjust to. Just something to consider..

Do them at the end with forced reps followed by the negative.

At the beginning after your warm ups. I put more pounds on my bench max by doing them at the beginning then the end. I think it has alot to do with your CNS being fresh you get more out of it.
After all the whole reason for doing negatives is pounds on the bar at the meet when it counts right.
