Are you talking supramaximal negatives?? Definitely at the beginning. At the start you have enough ATP/CP and CNS is fresh and ready for the onslaught. Negatives are mainly about tapping into nervous system and attempting to gain more strength from the extra stress. | |

| Re: Negatives-Question I'm for at the end - I perform negative isometrics at the sticking points - I let someone else call out when to stop so its a surprise to me - you stop and hold for a couple of seconds - a real asskicker despite using submaximal weights - Dr. Fred Hatfield recommended LOL
