Re: Need cycle diet...PLEASE HELP!!

I need serious help with regards to my diet. I am goint to be on my first cycle in October and would like some advice on how to prepare my diet for max LEAN gains.

STATS:
age: 29
weight: 185 lbs
height: 5'6"
bf %: 12-13

My problem is that I have never been on a good diet. I have an extremely large propensity for gaining weight (both in terms of fat and muscle). Currently, my caloric intake is somewhere in the range of 2000-2500 cals/day, mostly made up of protien and as little carbs as is humanly possible because, from experience, my body reponds very badly to carbs (by adding blubber!!). But despite this low intake, I still have the ability to gain LARGE amounts of weight (this summer I put on 20 lbs while only going up 1% in bf)

In my research, I have read that an average caloric intake while on a cycle should be between 4000-5000 cals per day. Firstly, I don't have the first clue as to how I can eat this much, and secondly what I should be eating...there is only so much chicken and tuna out there for me, not to mention the expense and I am worried that much cals will make me look as wide as I am tall.

I am going to post what my average daily diet consits of...PLEASE DO NOT LAUGH because i know it is crap:

Breakfast:
protein shake (2 scoops of 25 g/scoop protein) with 2% milk
2 boild egs
1 piece of toast

Lunch: if I have time
1 can of tuna with lemon...no mayo

Dinner:
steamed veggies
meat (chicken or beef about 8 oz)

Pre workout:
protein shake (2 scoops)

Post workout:
protein shake (1 scoop)

I need a diet that I can follow even while I am at school (yes I am still a student), that will not get me fat, and that is relativly easy on the wallet. I am prepared to dish out the cash, but if chicken and tuna is the ony way I will be broke in no time.

Please let me know if I have left out any important info may help.

Re: Need cycle diet...PLEASE HELP!!

You'll want to totally re-vamp that approach.

While "on" you need to eat. If you are eating like that, especially with the "if I have time" meals, just post-pone the cycle for darn sure. You'll be wasting time, money, gear, eating like that.

As well, the meals you do have fall well short of being acceptable, and if you're going broke purchasing tuna (very cheap product), the definitely wait. Spend your $$$ on food, not gear.

Re: Need cycle diet...PLEASE HELP!!

I hate to say this but your current "diet" reveals lack of nutritional knowledge bro.

Where are the essential fatty acids w/ your protein shakes? The can of tuna would actually be better off w/ some mayo IMO. I'm not sure if dieting while on steroids changes the required intake of fatty acids but they should definately still be taken.

Re: Need cycle diet...PLEASE HELP!!

IMHO you need to get your diet on track before ever starting a cycle..at this point in time your just not ready for a cycle. Please take the time and research some others diets and get an idea of what your needs are with each meal and its timing. There are times you will need carbs, protein, and good quality fats..but not always at every meal. If you want to grow from a cycle you have to feed yourself more so than any other time....even during pct it is very important to maintain a high calorie intake.

Diet is key when "on" cycle.

Re: Need cycle diet...PLEASE HELP!!

That dietary approach is horrible, I won't sit here and sugar coat it!

I know you are in school, so that's going to be a tough one. I'd encourage yuo to look for other ways to bring/prepare/find healthier choices.

Re: Need cycle diet...PLEASE HELP!!

I would say eat the veggies at the cafatera(sp?) but they are probably loaded with sugar and salt.....if they offer salads that might work....it just looks to me like your not getting any kind of veggies.

As for nuts...I will do a serving or 2 a day...mainly almonds, cashews, or peanuts.

I see no reason you can't buy canned tuna/chicken for some extra protein.....and if ya have a small frig then get some raw veggies...broc is awesome.
