diet question....

I was just wondering if anybody would know if it is ok to be on a low carb high protien diet while pregnant. Or what kind of diet might be good but still be good for them. And also what might help build muscle since weight lifting can not really be done. Is it still ok to drink protien shakes?

Re: diet question....

not too much protein......your kidneys are already under greater stress due to pregnancy.....best bet is to consult your doc.....

Re: diet question....

Its never ok to be on a low carb high protein diet. Especially not long term, its just not functional. Protein shakes are totally ok.

Aurora...Thank you. I will tell her and let her know.
I kind of told her the same thing already though. To not really worry so much about losing weight and dieting right now. To just stick to healty foods.
