Green energy

I've been busy as hell working 7 days a week, usually going at least 16 hour days (last mon was 20 hrs) installing windmills, hydro electric, Automatic generators, Solar PV, solar thermal and geo-thermal. My buddy owns a business and I've been doing all the sales and am the installation specialst. It's taking off in NY right now since incentives here are great. I've learned so much. Never was real earth conscious but am now. Just turning off lights and tv when not in use can considerably lower what you pay. In fact we I calculated how much you'd save a year just swithcing your lightbulbs over to CFL, fluorescent bulbs. If you use 1 60 watt lightbulb say 10 hrs a day, by switching over to cfl bulb could save you roughly $500 a year! Things like solar (expensive but smart) can end up saving you so much money in the long run that it makes it worth doing. Ways of heating homes is changing, thermal pv instead of fuel (which will soon increase w/ everything else not to mention delivery charge is 2x as much these days). Radiant floor heating, etc... A lot of things to consider if building a home. If you can look past the initial costs, the benefits easily outway the rest.
