ketosis = burning of ketones for energy instead of carbohydrates.........its only dangerous for diabetics.......short-term (12 weeks or less) ketogenic diets are ok for healthy individuals as long as the fats they choose are of the omega-3 and 6 variety.......check out dave palumbo's diet......
