| Re: SLIN PROTOCOLS? Whos good? i'm a few months late on this one, but you're adding fat due to your diet and timing. basically, everything you ingest durring the life of the synthetic insulin is pulled into your cells. this includes proteins, carbohydrates, nutrients, vitamins, and fats. you need to be extremely careful what you eat durring the duration. if you eat fat, you will gain fat. it's that simple. i use humulin r because i go hypo very quickly and with log i just cannot seem to compensate fast enough. with humulin r you have 30-60 minutes before it hits you and it peaks within 2-4 hours lasting at least 6-12 hours. in most cases you are clear within 6-8. my basic protocol was 10iu insulin immediately pwo followed by 60g protein (pro complex shake or isopure) and 100g simple carbs (usually mountain dew or dex powder). i'd also add creatine and glutamine. then every 2 hours i would take in 40-60g protein and carbs. carbs would depend on my blood sugar level. usually the first meal would be 80g, the next 2 60g. the idea is to keep your bsl stabile. |
