carbs postworkout

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

theres definitely a reason to use high gi carbs postworkout like dextrose and maltodextrin. the whole thing behind them is those products are highly processed corn products. The body digests them very rapidly causing your pancreas to release huge amounts of insulin. This is NOT healthy for you at ALL. But the insulin helps shuttle nutrients where they need to go much more rapidly than a low GI carb.

so yes this is better for muscle growth..

BUT...and I mean a big butt

If your over 30 years old or have bodyfat around your gut, spare tire, love handles,,,whatever the "f" you want to call them HIGH GI carbs will put FAT on your body. No ifs and or buts. Not only that but high gi carbs like I said before are VERY unhealthy for you.

Listen, Im pretty ripped right now (see my pics) but I came to realize something this winter. One bodypart that stands out the most when you have your shirt off is your stomach. Quite frankly its the BIGGEST part of your upper front torso. Thus I decided this summer that I want to have a muscular stomach this summer. My stomach right now is in OK shape, its got some definition but its not muscular looking. Honestly I think I dont have the genes for a muscular stomach but Im not gonna let that stop me.

THEREFORE....

I need to lose bodyfat. If you want to a muscular looking stomach you need to lose bodyfat. Thus I will not be using any HIGH GI carbs postworkout. I switched my diet to ALL NATURAL. And Im getting there. I have been dieting for 4 weeks now and Im more ripped than I was this winter. I predict by summer I should have a muscular stomach. and it will get there by not eating HIGH GI CARBS.

ALSO, especially if you are a WOMEN you sure the hell dont want to use maltodextrin and dextrose postworkout. If you took a survey of 100 women that go to your gym. 99% of them want to lose fat or tone up (which is the same as losing fat). maltodextrin and dextrose are taboo in my opinion for women.

FINALLY, if your a skinny, ectomorph with barely any fat gracing your bones, than YEA maybe you do want high GI carbs. But let me warn you. Once you start getting that fat accumulating around your stomach,,,its very, very, difficult to lose. Thus why open a can of worms?

Now getting back to the guy that was teasing you for not using HIGH GI CARBS postworkout.

Ask yourself first, do you have a muscular stomach? Assuming that you want one (because hey, who doesnt) If you have FAT on your stomach you need to start eating right. And I think DROPPING high GI carbs from your diet is a step in the right direction.

Secondly, check this guy out and see if he's ripped. If hes NOT simply tell him (if hes not some big 300lbs guy with a tatoo on his bicep that says "I love mom" ) maybe if he dropped the high GI carbs he would have some much FAT accumulated around his gut. Oat muscle DOES supply glycogen to the body and will spare amino acids from being used as energy. And it wont make me fat because im trying to get ripped. Tell him that Oat muscle DOES supply glycogen to the body just as sufficient as dextrose and maltodextrin (just not as quickly, but thats a good thing) and will spare amino acids from being used as energy. And it wont make me fat because im trying to get ripped. Not only that but it gives me sustained energy and doesnt make me "crash" like the FALSE energy maltodextrin and dextrose provide. the 55 grams of dextrose that you are using is making you fat and making you hold water too

If he IS ripped you will have a hard time convincing him because most guys that are big and ripped (probably from steroids) you cant tell them anything. Thats one reason I stopped doing the ArnoldClassic and Olympia expos. I would tell these 350lbs juice monsters that the whey protein concentrate with L-glutamine and BCAA's that they spent $20 bucks for at Walmart was not the best protein for postworkout and they looked like they wanted to rip my head off.

FINALLY, I would like to say one thing. The supplment industry is filled with a bunch of scumbags (if you havent figured it out already). Take a guess what is the ONLY powdered carb source that is dirt CHEAP, tastes good, and is easy to get. Yep you guess it maltodextrin and dextrose. and oh yea, the bullshit imaginery product waxy maize is dirt cheap too.

Guess whats expensive, hard to get, and requires special manufacturing to make it mix good and taste good? Right again, OATMUSCLE!!!

Now which one yields the BIGGEST profilt? Wow youre a f'in genius, maltodextrin and dextrose.

Hes' my theory....99% of supplement company's PUSH maltodextrin and dextrose because theres a huge profit to be made off them. Please name me another company to offer low GI carbs like rice olgidextrin and oatmuscle.......tick tick tick tick tick tick...who is only the PROTEINFACTORY Mr. TREBEK, correct you are our new jeopardy champion.

conclusion.
If you want a ripped bod this summer use oatmuscle postworkout....if you want to gain weight and dont care about fat around your stomach use maltodextrin and dextrose. Because the bottom line is that Oatmuscle replenishes glycogen without spiking your insulin and dextrose does spike your insulin caused to to GAIN bodyfat.
