I have a constant pain in my neck and right shoulder. Heavy over the head lifting is out. I don't mess with it at all. My doc said he wouldn't advise that I fight, but I need to do something.
Just my opinion, don't get the cortisone shots. Stick with the PT and chiropractor if it is helping.
I was at the point a therapist wouldn't touch my neck. He was afraid of causing further damage. So after talking to a couple of docs I went with the surgery.
Just so it doesn't sound like I am in the ring. I spar, no matches. It is a lot of strikes,kicking, and me getting hit.:)
