Re: A year long Cycle!!!!

I agree here that longer durations allows the body to adjust to the additional weight gain. Dave Palumbo refers to this as "Set Point". Shorter cycles you have the initial weight gain, then you cease the cycle. The bodies organs systems have not had a chance to accept the new weight per se therefore making it harder to keep the gains.

The past two years I have run a 7 month cycle, and an 8 months cycle this year. I don't go overboard on dosages. I believe slow and steady wins the race. At the same time, I do believe you need to give the body a significant break to allow hpta to return to normal. For myself that has been a 4 month break. However, I scale back my training using the less is more approach, continue to eat high protein. I keep taking my creatine, and nitric oxide. I also make use of a good pct.

The only thing I do not agree with totall here is the idea that you need to totally eliminate estrogen. Estrogen serves alot of different purposes. For starters, without estrogen there would be no natural IGF1 release, your sex drive would suffer (believe it or not), and your cholesterol values would be very unfavorable. We do need some estrogen. Control is key, not total elimination.
