I remeber how sore my lower back was when I started. Just be careful. When I first started doing deads, I wanted to stack on the weight and all I got was injury. If these are new to you, just do like one 45 on each side for a couple of workouts. Form is so important with those. Go as light as you feel comfortable with screw what everyone else my think, chances are your the only one in your gym that does em anyway.
