Personally i think that yes he should compete in the O simply for the prestige that comes with being able to enter such a high class event.

It might not be in his best interests to enter because as you say he could save his energy for the Arnold early next year. I am sure he knows what he will do and will think things through.

As for him being 'MR.O' within the next 2-3 years is doubtful because it would be very hard for him to go from 215lbs contest ready to 270-290lbs contest in that time frame. Unless they bring in a new mandate encouraging more a more asthetic type of bodybuilder i can't see him being Mr.O within the next couple of years.
